Many many fishing adventures

So lately, adventure buddy and I have been on a fishing spree. Every time we plan to do something, it's always fishing (mostly because he likes to fish, I think.) I'm not too much of a fisher, he usually has to put my bait on and take the fish off if I catch one but I can cast the bait out and reel the fish in, no problem. My problem though, I have a hard time sitting still and just waiting for the fish to bite. It's pretty difficult after working all night and everything is quiet. I could just curl up and take a nap somedays (of course, the bugs and wildlife make it a bit difficult.) I'm sure adventure buddy wouldn't mind but usually I can stay awake and it gives us time to talk and catch up on the going on's at work and what's happened lately. Anyway, yesterday was no exception. When I got off of work, we met up and went fishing like normal. Unlike last time, the fish weren't biting as well but it was just nice to sit around and talk and take in nature and the shade and breeze that was happening. We did end up catching a couple of fish a piece though. And adventure buddy made a few new friends too!

This was the monster of a fish that I caught. He gave adventure buddy the run around, trying to get the hook out, which was kind of funny. He happened to be missing an eye too (which might have been from my hook....sorry dude!!!)

Then, adventure buddy made some new friends. Apparently bees really like chicken liver because after adventure buddy put the bait on the hook. this guy would run around his hand being all spazzy. He almost got squished a couple of times because he liked to hang out between fingers but luckily he lived to see another day.
And this guy was just chilling on adventure buddy's leg. We were talking and suddenly he looked down and this dude was there. He was just a tiny little thing but he could jump like nobody's business!

Ok, there is a story behind this bobber. I didn't post about our last fishing adventure so you wouldn't understand what I was talking about if I just said that I got my bobber back. Well, on our last fishing trip, a fish broke my line and ended up stealing my bobber and we joked around and said it was Jaws (because, HEY! It was shark week!!!) Well, this trip we were walking around the lake and we picked a different spot and we had gotten settled when we looked over and saw this chilling close to the bank. So I went and picked it up and it looks just like the one that I lost on the last fishing trip to Jaws. We're not sure if it's the same one but it's funny to think that it is. And no, Jaws was not still attached to it.
